Under sitt residens hos Riksteatern arbetar Vejde & Mischa med sin nya duo-föreställning som bjuder in publiken till ett närvarande och okonstlat landskap av ljud, rörelse och introspektion. Slagverk och Cyr wheel möts i en elektronisk och akustisk magi och två konstarter utforskar broderskapets telepati, samtida cirkus, rörelse och musik, allt med avstamp i tradition.
Vejde Grind är en cirkusartist som intresserar sig för tvärvetenskaplig och multidisciplinär konst. Hans specialitet är Cyr wheel och det konstnärliga uttrycket och utforskandet sker inom dans, akrobatik, musik och ljusdesign. Vejde är bosatt i Stockholm och arbetar mycket internationellt.
Mischa Grind är slagverkare med utgångspunkt i traditionell musik från hela världen och en erfaren scenkonstnär och kompositör. Mischa är frilansande musiker och fast turnerande med grupper som Kolonien, Cleo Missaoui, Iiris Viljanen, Världens Band & Sigmund Mauricio.

During their residency at Riksteatern, Vejde & Mischa are working on their new duo performance that invites the audience to a present and unconstrained landscape of sound, movement and introspection. Percussion and the Cyr wheel meet in an electronic and acoustic magic and two art forms explore the telepathy of brotherhood, contemporary circus, movement and music, all rooted in tradition.
Vejde Grind is a circus artist interested in interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary art. His specialty is the Cyr wheel and the artistic expression and exploration takes place in dance, acrobatics, music and light design. Vejde lives in Stockholm and works internationally.
Mischa Grind is a percussionist with a background in traditional music from all over the world and a is longtime experienced performer and composer. He is a freelance musician and a regular tourer with groups such as Kolonien, Cleo Missaoui, Iiris Viljanen, Världens Band & Sigmund Mauricio.
